2006 F-250, Temp control problems
2006 F-250 KR with the auto adjusting temp system.
It's had a fickle AC system for a while now.. and it's finally too cold to pretend it's fine.
I can control the temp, and where the air is going... so no vacuum problems there. The problem appears to be just the fan's blower. It appears to have a mind of it's own. Some times it works right (and when it does it works great). I can control the fan speed with the head unit, and the steering wheel controls, but only sometimes. Sometimes I can control it, and sometimes the fan is working, but I can't control it.
I was pretty sure it was the head unit, so I dropped $500 on a new head unit from Ford..... same problems persisted. So now I wonder if it's the blower motor, or a ground issue.
