Greetings,
The A/C Control in my 2007 F250 Super Duty Diesel Lariat is not working correctly. When I press the AUTO button the A/C indicator comes on, but no air flows. I can run the system manually (I can select A/C and where the air flows), but the fan will only run at the highest setting. I am not currently in the position to take it to the dealer for repair. I would appreciate any input that anyone may be able to offer.
Kind regards,
JIM
I hope that is it. I had a Grand Marquis with Auto climate control. I think it is the same control head. It went bad twice. Once the vent would go to defrost like a vacuum leak and next it did what you are describing. About $500 each time to replace control head.
As long as you have control selection between ac and heat with the display working the control head is usually fine, I think chamberlain is right on track with the electronic speed control, should be under a 100 bucks from Ford &i think standard is making them now for significantly less, they fail like the resister bank in high blower speed! Good luck, reps to ya David good diagram!

I am relieved by the idea that the problem may not be the control head inside the truck. David, thank you, the diagram was very helpful. I located the module and copied the part number down. The cost for a new module (Part #6C34-19E624-AA) at my local Ford dealer is $94.16. I cannot find it to be had online. Before I order the part I would like to know if there is any way to test my current module to confirm that it is bad. Any recommendations?
Again, thank you all for your help!
Thank you all for your help on this. I ended up ordering a new control module from silverstateford.com (retail is $94.16 - I paid $69.41 including shipping). For anyone in the future, the correct part number is 6C3Z 19E624 AA. I put the part in yesterday and all is back to normal. I accessed the bottom bolt by removing the three bolts that hold the cylinder (not sure of the name) in front of it in place and by using a small wood wedge to push it out of the way while I worked.
Again, thank you all for helping me with this problem. You saved me a bunch of money.
