"Chugging" at cold start

I haven't started on diagnosing this yet. Looking for some guidance fo when I begin. My 1993, 300 cid, 4 speed "chugs" for the first 15 seconds or so after a cold start, then it smooths out and runs just fine. Not an issue with a warm start. No codes at all. Gonna start poking around in it this weekend. I'm not sure of the best place to start

I had the exact same problem and it turned out to be the EGR, but it might be the IAC.

Cool. I was gonna start with a look at my vacuum lines and that's a good second step. Thanks for the reply

I was a little puzzled by it for a month or two, because the EGR valve seemed to kinda work correctly when applying vacuum to it. It obviously was not.
