Not sure so I'll ask, does it have a valet mode for when the engine is being worked on? Normally when in valet mode remote starting is disabled and only the door locks work.

thanks that was a lot of help!!!the truck has 6k on it! its new! kinda doubt it!no codes batts are fully charged! next idea!!!
The remote start system will not work if:
The ignition is on.
The alarm system is triggered.
You disable the feature.
The hood is open.
The transmission is not in park (P).
The vehicle battery voltage is too low.
The service engine soon light is on.
The fuel level is low.
Question...
Is the truck lifted or have any modifications?
I ask this because a while back I was brought in to look at a 2016 Super Duty that would not remote start with the factory system. Someone else finally figured out that when the lift kit was installed on the truck, an in-line speedo module was installed that messed up the signal to the dash cluster. No codes were thrown, but that module had a problem and caused the remote start to not work.
It's always something with the vehicle, not the remote start itself. The only exception is if the remote start feature has been turned off in the driver information display. Go to Settings/Vehicle/Remote Start and make sure the box has a check mark in it. If that check mark is there, it's time to diagnose what's wrong with the truck.
Factory remote start doesn't work if there is a problem with the truck.
There is an issue that needs to be resolved. It could be low battery voltage, a DTC, whatever.
I have a tire pressure sensor light on. Would that prevent it starting? From what I'm seeing I'm wondering if that means any fault lights will disable it.
