all remote functions work on fob except remote start stopped working

Do you have a check engine light on?
Reason I ask is that unless you went into the driver's information display and actually disabled remote start, the only reasons remote start won't work is there's something wrong with the truck. If there's an active code and check engine light, remote start won't work. If it's low on fuel, low battery voltage, bad or disconnected hood switch, etc.... all reasons the remote start will quit operating.

Back to basics, but how old are the remote batteries? Mine have gotten weak twice now and both times the remote start was the first thing to act up. It just acts like part of the sequence of the lock, start 2x gets missed. If it doesn't beep, try a new battery. If it does, follow the guidance above.

With the 2011 and weak truck batteries, the truck will attempt to start then fail with one honk. I reproduced this multiple times with weak batteries over the winter where manually starting would work but barely. My guess is a remote control issue as well. Mine currently won't remote start more than 10 feet away and I'm certain it's the batteries in the remote, I just haven't resolved the issue yet even though unlocking works at a further distance. Try the other fob as well.
