70s F600
I am looking at buying 70s or late 60s f600 that is 4 wheel drive. I havnt seen the title yet so not sure of the year. Its a grain truck with a 14' dump body. It has 34,000 miles on it and is pretty nice shape for the age. Anybody know year and motor this has by the serial number? F65EVN81521

Thanks for the great reply. You know your fords! How much do you think this truck is worth? It hasn't run for about 10 years but with new gas and maybe a carburetor clean, I think it would run. The brakes don't seem to work. They want 1,000 for it. It was completely functional when they parked it in this shed 10 years ago.

Thanks for the reply. If I get this, how much you want for the fender extensions. I actually only need the drivers side. The other side is fine.

The brake drums will be very hard to find new or used, but the other brake and etc. parts should be available from NAPA and indie auto parts stores.
Chain auto parts store (Auto-Zone, O'Reillys and etc) parts clucks are usually clueless and on trucks this old, the parts are usually not listed on their computers.
So you have to get the clucks to look in their paper parts catalogs, usually stashed under the counter.
Green Sales Co. is located in Cincinnati (800-543-4959) and has the largest stock of FoMoCo NOS (New Old Stock) parts on the planet.
It's only worth what people are willing to pay for it. The 4WD is a plus, if it works. If it doesn't work, it could be very expensive to fix.

This belongs to my neighbor. I saw it run and drive 10 years ago. It was just a farm truck and the farmer got too old to farm and has now died. It believe this farmer owned it for about 30 years and it has always been parked in this shed when not in use. I'm sure the only thing wrong with it is that it has sat idle for 10 years. What it will take to fix the brakes, I do not know.
