Simple yes or no, Did they make a F250 4x4 in 78-79 with a coil spring front?
My nephew bought one, I suspect is a put together truck. I'm not there to look at the serial number

No coils spring front end F250 in 4wd.
Yes in F250 2wd, and F100 F150 2wd and 4wd.
If could be a 1/2 ton and someone put 8 lug spindles on the front axle and swapped in a rear 8 lug axle and then rebadged it.
And odd duck is a F150 4wd with front leafs..only in a SC.

What I think too. But I just learned about the leaf spring F150s even though I've been immersed in Ford pickups since I bought my first new one in 1974. Which ironically enough was an F250 4x4 that escaped the factory with F100 fender badges.
