I was wondering if there was anyone that lives in the Northern Virginia area, specifically Manassas, VA that has the AutoEnginuity Ford enhanced scan tool and would be willing to scan my Ford van. I have a no crank/no start issues. I'm thinking I might have a Pat's key problem or a bad pcm module. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I had a problem with my 2004 E-450 Super Duty V-10 Chassis. I went to Auto Zone and spent $49.00 and bought a https://www.autozone.com/test-scan-a...ool/509778_0_0
The tool has gone up in price I paid $49.00 according to my receipt. But I bought the device in 2006 but it's the same brand I bought. Good Luck
Ol' "Chesty" would lick his fingers, grab the plugwires and read the trouble from the jolts of electricity!
I remember one time when i was still wet behind the ears (when I was about 14 or 15 yrs, old) My older cousin was having trouble with his "Cheby" not idling right we had the hood up and he said to me check and see if one of the wires is loose? I did I got knocked on my arss! He got pushed in the nose! I always respected him until that happened. I also bought my first "Ford Galaxie 500 XL" it was a 1963 fast back. I miss that car.
Happy Turkey day!

Thanks for the info. That scanner is about $120 now. Maybe they might have a sale on it for black Friday?
Happy Thanksgiving!

Yeh, I learned the hard way you pull the wires from the distributer cap, not the plugs! I'll bet you do miss that car. I owned 2 1964 Galaxies by the time I was 22. One became a project car. By the time I was finished with it, I could out corner the imports and pass anything but a gas pump!
