i am using the truck for a project and don't have the steering column just the plug like in the photo
my trucks a 01
Aaaaaah yes, you're doing that cab swap project. Are you even using that starter relay that used to be on the passenger's side fender? If so, pirschwagon has you covered and if you're not using it you're out of my wheelhouse anyway. Awesome project, I can't wait to see the finished project.

starter relay i will be keeping for sure
but i don't remember where on the passenger side the relay was ??
i kept the under hood fuse box and the under dash fuse box so i would assume have the relay still
i have that switch from the bottom of the column

the truck starts runs and drives with this one i just wanna have some security with a half *** key and a push button start switch
i also plan on removing the inertia shutoff switch and put on a toggle on off switch hidden some where
That relay sits on the passenger's side fender around the ESOF solenoid and it looks like this. That diagram shows a connector labeled 'STA', that is the one that feeds your starter relay from the key. It goes through the under the dash fusebox at fuse #20 then out to the starter. It might go through the transmission selector switch down on the transmission on the way to the starter, I am not sure. I have a thread on that wire, let me dig it up, at the time some wiring diagrams were posted to help me out.
