LED Reverse Lights

Reverse lights I was turned on to.
Pair 3156 3157 T20 5W CREE LED bulbs
Pics are with a camera phone, so they're a little lacking. These along with their cargo bulbs would probably put out some serious light, they're next. I'm pleased.
First pic is looking over tailgate stock lights
Second is LED and stock
Third is over tailgate LED

Same here, I'm about to buy a bunch for all my cars and also offer to sell them at the shop.

So how many have these now? Who has backed up a gooseneck trailer with them in the dark (no streetlights around)? Are the lights so bright they bounce off the front of the trailer creating a blind spot so you can't see the back end? I've been wanting to get a set of these, but don't want to get it where I can't see anything when backing a trailer.

I'm interested in the cargo bed lights too if anyone has them and cares to offer feedback.

They are pretty darn bright coming off the trailer, but mines black so it's not real bad. I've been meaning to order some bulbs from them to put on the trailer and really light it up back there while in reverse. I think they're only around $8 each iirc, just havent done it. As for the cargo lights, once again I've been meaning to get some but just haven't done it. I did see a pic the other day of a truck with them and it looked pretty much like the reverse lights, just 2 more up high. Those pics I took are really bad and don't do much justice, maybe someone else who has them could post a pic or two with a decent camera.

Are these at retrofit LED that replaces the stock bulbs that go in the reverse plug of the tail light?

I'm convinced! Raw pictures don't lie so I'm bookmarking it too. Don't have 40 bucks atm as I'm heading out to the oil fields in ND to make some real money. Things around here have slowed down to much and I'm barely making the bills.
So yea, now i just need some replacement LEDs for my brake lights as my current LEDs just don't have enough brightness when I step on the brake. Well not as much as I want them to have.

Nice site too!! Seems to have a lot of lighting solutions, all the auto lights I've been looking for!! Thanks!

Looks good, with my dark tinted glass it's hard to see when backing, these should help.
BTW Izzy, what bulb version did you get?

Bill, I ordered the Top Cree LED only but they were on backorder so he sent me the Top LED with radials. I don't think there's a whole lot of difference in the two used in this application. They are BRIGHT! I spoke with Todd Strong a couple times and he was very helpful and easy to communicate with. I will certainly be a return customer.

I'm with you, I can't get super bright reverse lights and try to back up to a trailer. I was thinking of getting the recon reverse lights and then put a set of backup lights on a switch so I can turn them on and off when I need them. If I didn't pull a trailer these would be great.

Thanks for your reply. I actually already have back up lamps in my bumper that I hooked into a switch on the dash but the extra light could certainly help.
