I just bought a new 2018 F-150 Platinum short-bed and it's in need of a BakFlip MX4 bed cover. Where are the best prices?

 

Realtruck.com gave me the best price quote on the MX4 although I haven’t purchased it yet. Still undecided between that and the UnderCover Ultra Flex.

 

Just got off the phone with Tonneau covered in Arizona. They are offering either for $789.99 plus free shipping and some special give away they have.

I just decided on the uncovered ultra flex.for the following reasons

• 5 year warranty versus 3 year for MX
• swing out tool box included
• carpeted underside
• when fully folded the support arms lock it in place versus resting on back window
• lighted rails

my big concern was when (and how often is that) I have the covered folded up the MX still allows the brake light and camera to be visible. the ultra flex will cover them.
that said I think 3 panels have less chance of malfunction and leaking vesus the 4 panel system of the mx.

I am sure both will serve the needs just fine. It's personal preference.
