You gotta give us a little more to go on. And - welcome to the forums!
Let us know the symptoms, indications, anything obviously wrong, etc. Did you smash the mirror off on a telephone pole - yes, your ambient temp may be jacked up. Is it just going crazy with no other indications? Could be water in a wiring connector or a bad temp sensor.

Edit - and, also I suggest the 99-16 Superduty forum instead of the 6.7 motor forum for a little better visibility if we can't fix it here

I'm getting a p0073 code with CEL. Climate control seems to work OK in manual mode , but not in Auto. Temp readout on screen sometimes reads -30 and moves up & down or just shows ----.

To add to the above that I've seen my share of, I've also seen more than a few with what I call the Ambient temperature sensor delete option, a k a someone else installed a passenger side mirror intended for '08 to '10 Super Duty trucks without the sensor. I'll say it sure has increased our passenger side mirror sales when these come in.

Aha. Yep, look for wiring breaks or chafing on the cables near the passenger door hinge and into the passenger mirror. Sounds like a flashlight and some wiggling of cables is in your future. Youtube is a good reference for how to remove the mirror and door trim if it comes to that. Good luck!
