Door bell wonít stop?

Saturday night I shut the truck off, turned off the lights, pulled the key out and when I opened the door the bell kept going off like the key was still in it. Itís still doing it....(kind of annoying) Anyone heard of this?

I know it sounds like a silly reply, but were you headlights turned on the non-auto mode?

Our Explorer does the same thing at times. My wife says it's because I open the door before I completely shut the engine off. I have yet to figure it out but don't put too much thought into it since its the wife's car. Good luck and let me know what you find out.

Good to know. When I get the keys from the wife, I might tickle the ignition too. 😊
