Saturday night I shut the truck off, turned off the lights, pulled the key out and when I opened the door the bell kept going off like the key was still in it. It’s still doing it....(kind of annoying) Anyone heard of this?

Our Explorer does the same thing at times. My wife says it's because I open the door before I completely shut the engine off. I have yet to figure it out but don't put too much thought into it since its the wife's car. Good luck and let me know what you find out.
Well it finally irritated me to the point I started messing with the key and the ignition and must’ve tickled it just right to make it stop...for now...hopefully it’ll continue to behave appropriately

Good to know. When I get the keys from the wife, I might tickle the ignition too. 😊
Those annoying dings saved me one day. Must have hit the headlight switch with my knee taking it off of auto. Lights would not have gone out and it was daytime so that may have killed the battery. Took me a minute to figure out why it was beeping at me but glad I did

The lights would have turned off after a few minutes anyway regardless of the position of the light switch so no worries about your battery being killed or drained.
For others - if you are annoyed by the chime when the parking brake is set and you leave the truck in gear and open the door, change this and it won't chime unless the truck moves.
BCM 726-43-01 x*xx-xxxx-xxxx Park Brake Chime Config: 0=PRNDL, 1=Speed
This shuts the chime up unless you try to drive the truck with the parking brake set.
