It is my hope that admin and the mods will allow me this opportunity to say thanks and farewell to the membership here at FTE, specifically to the 6.0 forum. Hopefully without the aid of moderator interpretation / editing
It has been a great ride here at FTE and as I have stated before…I have taken much more than I could ever return.

I have made good friends and acquaintances here. And for the most part those that I have challenged have been fair and honest…more than that, however, they have approached their opposing beliefs with a sense of integrity. To these folks I have a special feeling of respect. You guys know who you are as I have, as much, told each of you so individually.

A special thanks to those who have recognized me with reputation points.

The reason for my departure is general in scope but, specific in nature to my recent discussions with BigF350 regarding what I perceive as the new “edit at will” doctrine now practiced by moderators and admin. I am just not suited well for micro-post management where even a specific sentence can be deleted. Life is to short.

Don’t get me wrong, the mods do a tremendous, mostly thankless, job and I have always appreciated their dedication and volunteerism. They will continue to serve the forums well, to be sure.

So again, thanks to all past and present FTE’ers…have fun, continue to learn, and please continue to pursue a little spirited discussion from time to time. Hmmm…. I am sure my long drawn out rebuttals will be sorely missed.

I will peek in very, very often as I am selfish and can use the knowledge. So I will be watching.

Didn’t quite make the 2,500 post mile stone but, I suppose, going postal isn’t what it is cracked up to be.

Good luck and safe trucking to all and keep those EGR Valves unplugged.

Boy this really stinks to see you leaving. I always enjoy your posts, and you're always posting very helpful info for those in need. I'm glad we have the search feature and can filter by name, so I can always go back and continue to learn from you. Stick around as much as you can!

Well just how do you like that? Get called into work today, and I end up missing all the drama in the 6.0 forum. Good luck to you to KW, look me up if ever in Bossier.

Wow, this sucks. You may have a ruffled a feather or two . . . or three . . . or four . . . And no one went the extra mile to find an answer for someone like you did. That'll be missed.
