From everyone who is running your tuning they all say you are as good as it gets. I was hoping you would get this off the ground and force me to trade in my F5 for the Hydra so I could get your tuning.
If I win the lottery, I will fund your tuning business and the entire FTE community will be the better for it.
Perhaps we (the FTE collective) can help in someway, if the desire to pursue the tuning is still there? We have a lot of very resourceful people here that are willing to help out perfect strangers.
Just a thought.

As a guy who runs your tuning, I have to say this bums me out. You not only made my truck run right after another guy failed miserably, but you also made it run ***** out. I hope this changes.

This is where my thoughts went this morning when I read this. I have no idea what it would take and would never pretend to. But, perhaps there is a collective group on here that would appreciate getting the best there is to offer and can assist. IF this would be a possibility would you be willing to reach out and let us know? Truly not trying to pry. I know you stated don't ask. Just trying to look from a different angle.
Sorry for being so short and obscure last night. I was in a horrible mood after a project in the shop didn't go as planned yesterday. When I said don't ask, I meant that there's no need to ask if I will tune your pickup or write tuning for a particular chip.
As Rich stated, it's a hardware issue. I can't get mad at the person who was going to do the hardware for me simply because it was going to be done for free. I am not smart enough to figure it out so therefore I need to rely on someone else. I hate relying on other people.
Anyway, that is the story with that. I have just been getting an overwhelming number of PM's lately and not having an answer. As some of you know, I will not do anything on a TS Performance chip that is, as people call it, "custom". Nothing about those chips is private anymore. The Hydra is very nice and very secure, but it's also opened up doors for people where they figure that they can just keep contacting the tuning company for revisions over and over and over again because it is so easy to reflash in the owner's hands. I have never felt right about charging for tuning on a platform that has nothing to do with me and with all of the other stuff going on, it's hard to justify giving something away when I am not invested in it. That's why I wanted to go with completely different hardware.
Sorry to hear this. I was hoping for the "opposite" message. My current set-up woks well except for higher EGT's than I care to see. Hope things can take a turn for the better for you.
I thought about taking up tuning years ago, decided against it for quite a few reasons, some of which you mentioned.
Can't blame you Cody, it's a hell of a tough business to get into. However your input here is always valued highly by everyone. You've earned a lot of respect over the years.
