SYNC 3 2.3 Update

I tried to download 2.3 update but ones i click Start Download ... error page comea out. I contacted ford Help Chat. First thing they asked me was if my F150 came with Navigation ... it did. They said in this case there is some glich in the update for navigation Sync version that they trying to work out and no download can be performed as of now.

Are you trying to do the update via USB?
Have you tried to download 2.3 via OTA?
Some people have done it with success even though the Ford Owner website says that it can only be done via USB.

Strange.....This must be a recent glitch because I also have SYNC 3 with NAV and I didn`t have any problems with the 2.3 download a few weeks ago.
Are you trying to do the update via USB?
Have you tried to download 2.3 via OTA?

I was trying to update from 2.2 to 2.3 yesterday and thats what Ford representative told me. You couldnt even dowload the file to your computer to put it to USB stick ... minute you pressed Start Dowload ERROR PAGE comes out. Same with dowload over WiFi ... it just searches for update but it doesnt do nothing. That was yesterday. Ford Rep told me there was some kind of Glich with the 2.3 update for Sync with Navigation and they working on the fix thats why dowload page was down
Hopefully they`ll get it working soon.
Sometime the OTA will do just what you mentioned even if the glitch wasn`t there and sometimes the OTA update can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several days to finally update. Totally hit and miss.
Perhaps you can try a Master Reset first and then try the OTA again.
Make sure the WiFi signal meter on the SYNC screen has at least two bars because one bar will not work.

Version 2.3 update with NAVIGATION is out but yesterday download link on Fords website was down ... according to Ford Rep. that i spoke with they were working on some Glitch and he said thats why Computer Dowload was not available at this time. He couldnt say when. You can always check on Ford website if it let you download it to computer

Well if Ford Rep said there was a glitch for navigation sync 3 version 2.3 update and they held up computer download yesterday i dont think they would be pushung it OTA with the glitch being there
