Cooler upgrade pic request

I recently discovered my 2001 7.3 has a replacement radiator with no transmission cooler provision. Someone know of a thread here with pics detailing the 6.0 trans cooler upgrade?
Also where can i find part numbers and exploded views for our ex's online?
Thanks!
Mike

There's an installation thread in the Tech Folder.
You might consider adding a B&M 70274 Super cooler with NPT ports and 1/2" hose barbs to replace the radiator cooler instead of buying a new radiator.
The 5R110 trans cooler has 1/2" hose ports.
Using coolers with 1/2" tubing reduces line pressures so the cooler bypass circuit will not be affected.

do you have a transmission temp gauge ?

What temps do you see ?

My 7.3 with radiator and 6.0 31 row runs 150-155 most of the time.
Heavy footed over the Sierra Nevada mountains maybe 160
Towing uphill to max egt occasionally hit 200-220

Try www.tascaparts.com for online parts numbers and diagrams

All stock truck and tune, via the obd mx and torque app I was seeing 200-205 F unloaded in mid 90 degree weather. It was within a few degrees of the engine oil temp.

I wasn't worried with that temp but wanted to get it a tad cooler before I pulled anything more than a light utility trailer.
Thanks everyone for the links, I should have known to look in the tech folder
And thanks pirate for your temp info, are you running a stock 6.0 cooler or the mishimoto?

Got mine from Ford before there were other options, I would just get the Dorman one nowadays.

Don’t forget the transmission thermostat. After installing my 6.0 cooler my transmission ran too cool. Would have been much easier to install it when doing the cooler than having to do it later.
