That would be the one Ford sells through their dealers. Ford replaced the rusting fasteners on mine with new improved ones that are now painted and so far there is no sign of rust.

I had a "bug deflector" on my last truck. I really like how they look, but I honestly don't believe it deflected any bugs from my truck.

Hood protector is a better name for them. Preventing stone chips was the main reason I installed one, the good looks was a side benefit.

Fair enough. I was going by your Amazon link and thought you purchased there. Sounds like it might be a nice Craigslist bargain for someone.
