I'm looking for a Bug-deflector that fits on the front of the hood of my '07 F150 Lariat Supercrew to help guard against bugs and gravel. Some of the ones I've seen on other vehicles rub don't fit very well and rub against the hood.
Do you have a recommendation on a bug-deflector that both fits good and looks good?
You might think about a stainless steel hood protector instead of a bug deflector. They attach right on the hood with double sided tape, so no drilling into the hood, and no rubbing. I've seen a few newer Ford trucks around that have them, and they look pretty good, really.
autoventshade mounts the best IMO.
Just loosen bolts that hold grill to hood, slip on and tighten
Two rubber bumbers stick to it on each end in case its pushed against the hood although I don't see how that could happen
I put clear film on my truck on the front portion of the hood, fenders, bumper and rocker panel directly behind the wheels. From a few feet away you can't even tell its on there. I'll get some pictures up of my truck. 3M makes the film and its made especially for this purpose. Check this site www.invisiblemask.com
