Alot of the newer rams have hood scoops. What's so bad about scoops,or do you think they just won't look good on "my" truck? The box they come in shows a red Ford 150 on the cover with them and I thought they looked nice. I hope I get more opinions. If they are all negative I won't put em' on.
The scoops on the rams, if their even drawing air, would still be useless because scoops need to be in the wind therefore much taller. Any scoop (or any other accessory for that matter) that's so obviously useless looks bad to me personally.
Less, It's up to you! Do YOU like the look? Don't spend so much time worrying what other people think. Some guys like blondes, some brunettes, some tall, some short!
Crewfor32, you are sooo right. My wife even likes the look! She has not been too happy about all the stuff I been dragging in the door for this truck. But she actually told me to do the scoops! So thanks for the wake up. I'll go scratch em' down and heat up the garage.

Just another thought from me: if I were to want a scoop on the hood, I'd get a hood with a scoop built into it. Anything put on with two sided tape is not going on my truck. But hey, if it looks good to you and you like it, go for it.

you asked for opinions, i gave mine. i think they would suck.
if they were working and a part of the hood then they would make more sense. unless they are high enough off the boundry layer they do not work that well anyway.
if you want them, who cares if no one else likes them?
I was looking to get feedback about the performance of adhesion to the hood and experiences with the product itself more than looks. Does the plastic hold the paint when flexed with heavy snow? Does the adhesive hold up to heat from the motor? Do these lund press on scoops tend to blow off at 95 mph?.

well i feel like a outcast here but i think they look alrite, matter of fact i ordered mine today on the way home from work.. they only cost $72 canadian but im mainly getting them to hide a big dent in my hood! not to mention when i put them on im gona make them funtionable cut the hood open a bit. As long as u get them on straight and in the rite place they will look good, some ppl put them to close to each other or to far. Good luck i'll try to get some pics of mine on day.
I like them. If i had money thats what would be next. I have a Lund windshield sun visor with lights and a Lund tinted rear window sun visor. Its held on with there 3m tape it will never come off once its heated in the sun. Mine rear sun visor stayed on and also did not break in real cold weather, at least to 50 below. Make sure to read the direction on cleaning the hood first. I also added two small steps, and grab handles (not sure what you call them) both for getting into the cab. I guess you could rivet them down if you have a problem with them coming off ??? Your truck my be to new for that though. Find some pics on the internet with the scoops first.
