The exterior tan cladding on my chestnut maroon Ex needs to be touched up due to the POs poor parking skills. Two questions:
1) is it worth removing, painting and reinstalling? or just mask and paint? From what I've seen, removal seems intensive and will require new fasteners and tape.
2) I have not found a single non-stock color combo pic online. Any leads on what new color might look cool? bonus points if matched to a new or painted bumper.
I took mine off. Didn't like the color combo with a blue exterior & gray interior. It's not hard to do. Cleaning the glue was the worst to get off. Only a few fasteners to deal with. The only holes to deal with are under the rear quarter panels behind the wheel opening. Ford still sell the XLT filler spats.
