does the stonegaurd/apron thing behind the front bumper paint body color? mine was silver when i got my truck, and i just assumed the p.o. had painted it that color, but when i sanded it i found no body color underneath. also, the dennis carpenter catalog cover has a 66 in the same colors as mine and the thing is silver. what gives?

acrylic urethane like ppg DAR? i think i gave about $130 a gallon for it, and i got a good price. then it's plus hardener and reducer. that was for a blue and a white. red is gonna be more. straight urethane, like imron, is bumping $200. it's nuts. catalyzed urethane primer way out there too. if you think thats bad, price the same colors in sikkens or glasurit.

Mine is silver as in galvanized metal, in family since new.

I need one if anyone has one to spare/sell. Since mine has a small bend in it from when I hit something at age 14
