1947 Paint Color
Looking for a color card for a 1947 Ford 2-Ton Flatbet. I want to match the original red. I am also looking for any publication that would show the color scheme for the truck. For example, bumper, grille, interior, any detailing.

A little late but maybe you'll get this & it'll help. The original color red for your truck was Vermillion red, which is the same as the passenger cars, try to see if a paint shop can get you the current numbers for this color. Bumpers are semi gloss black, wheels are black, interior metal is the same as ext body color, the upholstery was brown vinyl for the '47's. I believe the headliner and related stuff as green-black. i dont see a picture but it a good possibility that the original color was a lite teal blue, we got a 47 flat bed or it could be a state side , im haveing a hard time finding a picture that would confirm it, but i has original color and its the lite teal blue.. i could take a photo of the truck and color and e-mail it, !
