Drivers mirror keep moving from memory setting
Drivers mirror keep moving from memory setting
I have a 2015 F-150 Lariat with memory seats and what seems like every other time I start my truck, the drivers mirror moves up and left just a little away from the memory position. I can either self adjust it back or if I notice it before I put the truck in drive, just hit the # 1 memory button and it will move back to where it is suppose to be. I have had the dealership do a "Reset" of the mirrors 3 times but it always starts self adjusting again. The only thing I can think that may be causing this is that I do use the button to fold in my mirrors sometimes pulling up at a drive thru or when parking trying to make sure that if someone walks by they do not hit my mirror walking between the vehicles.
I will not stop using the button to fold in the mirrors as Ford designed them to do when I need to but I am not going to continue to put up with the mirror self adjusting either.
My dealer seems to be at a loss as what to do next.
Thanks in advance.

I have a ‘15 Lariat and mine does the same or very similar. When I get in and start up, the wheel, seats and mirrors start adjusting as they should. The passenger mirror is almost very close or right on to where I have set it. The driver mirror is always just slightly off, most of the time just a bit higher or farther out from where I have saved it. I have Lincoln mirrors enabled and use easy entry exit enabled in the IPC. It is very annoying for me as well.

There is a fix:

2015-2020 Edge/MKX/Nautilus/F-150/Mustang - Mirror Click And/Or Ratcheting Noise - Built On Or Before 18-Jan-2020
Some 2015-2020 F-150/Mustang, 2016-2020 Edge, 2016-2018 MKX and 2019-2020 Nautilus vehicles built on or before 18-Jan-2020
May exhibit a mirror click and/or ratcheting noise when using memory functions or easy entry/exit function. This may be due to the software in the driver door module (DDM) and passenger door module (PDM). To correct the condition, reprogram the DDM and PDM with the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool. For claiming use causal part 14B291 and applicable labor times in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
