Adjusting The Trailer Mirrors
Sitting in the parking lot waiting on the wife the other day, I noticed that my mirrors did not respond to the being told to tilt "up". It seemed that when trying to get them to show more distance to the rear, the darned things wanted to turn more into the truck than up so I usually ened up with a nice view of the side of the truck. Now if I roll the window down and push on the mirror it will move up, but it seems you never can get the mirror back to the same spot using the motor. Both mirrors do the same thing. Sounds crazy I know - When I first bought the truck, it was getting washed all the time so I thought I was hitting the morrow glass and knocking them out of synch. Have played with both sides extensively with the same results.
Question: Is this the way it is or perhaps I have a defective mirror switch? Since both mirrors do the same thing, I do not believe they are the problem.
