1994 E4OD question.

So last night I got a new torque converter and solenoid pack installed when I tried to drive the truck won’t shift out of 1st gear. I’ve been reading up on the MPLS might need adjustment but I’m not to sure. Any ideas?

CHECK FOR CODES.
Most likely the computer isn't getting the vehicle speed signal. If the MLPS needs adjustment it won't start in park or neutral. It cannot cause a no shift out of first gear.
