It appears Erson has quit making rockers for a FE engine.
I bought a set several years ago but haven't seen any come up for sale in a while.

T&D aluminum "street" set up is pricey but you won't find anyone with anything bad to say about it. They just don't fail in the formulation you're describing.

That said, from what I've read you'd be fine with factory styled non-adjustables as long as you add end stands. Spacer bushings would be nice too.

FWIW... for a cam/lifter/rocker assembly package I'd go to one of the top FE builders and have them put together a kit. I think long term satisfaction would be a lot better because they have the experience to spec a custom cam based on your displacement, heads, and power goals. They'll also select the right springs and assemble a durable rocker setup.

I second the stock non adjustables. I have a Howard's cam slightly milder than yours and added the end stands. I do not think that you will be at any higher rpm for your power band than me with the extra displacement and the $700+ would gain you much more elsewhere.

Stock Ford rocker assy with end supports will be fine for most performance builds IMHO.

I'm running T&D adjustable rockers for the Edlebrock head - often referred to as "street" rockers. I felt that with all the other expensive parts going into my 445 it didn't make sense to try and run a 50 year old set of rockers.

First roller rocker's I remember for a FE was in the late 80's maybe early 90's and some considered them not as strong as stock rockers, hardly ever see a rocker break, most times it's the shaft, end stands helped with that issue.
Pretty much during all of the FE's glory days, Drags, NASCAR, LeMons all done on stock type iron rockers.
Unless you plan on big lifts or heavy spring pressures about any quality rocker system will work as long as it has end stands.

I liked the unified stand of the Erson's plus I got a good deal on a set, other wise I'd probably have a set of stockers with end stands.
