2000 F-250 power window

Here's my problem. Window got stuck half way down. I took interior door panel off and moisture barrier. I can see motor running and regulator arm with teeth moving but nothing else is moving. What did i break if the teeth are going both directions but nothing is moving up and down? I manually lifted window up to seal the interior from rain, i can move window up and down by moving channel manually.

Lmc truck, has the whole set up for around $100. It replaces everything

Any idea what the problem is ? Did the track just slip out of position? The motor runs and the arm moves but the glass doesn't.

Can you take apart the other door and look at the window mechanism on it to see what part is missing or not working?

Yes, that's exactly what i plan on doing when the rain stops today.

Ok, found spring was bad. Install new motor and regulator. Window only goes half way up. What did i do wrong????

I know nothing about window motors, so I’ll chime in...does the motor have a “full down” position that it needs to be in when you install it (and the window was actually fully down)? If so, maybe the motor was in the halfway up position when you installed it. Just throwing that out there in case it’s a possibility.
