Can you help me identify this part? Thanks again
Hey everyone looking for some help again eith a part. I thought it was radiator support. I may be mistaken after my Google search turned up well not this part. Here's a picture. I opened it up a bit to see. I'm looking to replace the part that has the rust hole in it. It connects to front of frame on both front left and right side.

Looks like the radiator core support beam. Here's one for a 4x2 so you can see it...looks pretty similar.

Almost , if you look at the ad on ebay it says radiator top, this is way bottom. The link you posted would be for the latch to hood to connect to, fenders etc if im not mistaking. Thanks for the help though man.

If you're worried about it, just cut the brackets off of the front spring hangers and get rid of it. All that bar does is keep you from climbing over Geo Metros when they run stop signs and you T-Bone them.
On a totally unrelated note, the first thing I would do if I lived where you live is smack the city council, County Road Department, and State Road Department administrators right in their stupid mouths and tell them to quit using salt on the road.

As mentioned. You don't need snow and ice to get "salted". Plenty to be had on the coast in Cal. Not a flake of snow. Well almost never. It "snowed" a couple of time in the 40 plus years that I lived down that way.
