Help Needed In Az

I live in <st1><st1:city w:st="on">Casa Grande</st1:city>, <st1:state w:st="on">AZ</st1:state></st1> and just bought a 28 ft toy hauler. It came with a reeses WD hitch and a friction sway bar. The gut I got the TH from had a lifted truck so when I hooked it to my 2X4 6.0 EX the trailer nose were almost touching the ground. First how level should the trailer be. The 2nd is how should you set up the sway bar? if any one is willing to come out and help i would buy you a beer or two maybe 3 if thing go smothly

How much drop does you tow bar have?

There really is no degree of level. It either is or isn't. The trailer should be level or ever so slighty low in the front to help compensate for when you brake.

can you post a picture of your setup?...that would help me figure out what we are dealing with...

If you cannot post a picture...let me know and I'll send you an email addy for you to email the pictures to me for posting...

As Monsta said...the TH should be as close to level as possible and if not possible...a slight nose low on the TH is preferred next.

The friction bar is easily installed on the two smaller diameter ***** (one on TH and one on hitch head). You tighten until pretty tight and then back off to keep the handle parallel to ground...

Get me some pictures and I can help you dial her in...I'll have to take a pass on the brewsky though until we meet some day!...I'm headed to Williams AZ this summer...

joe.

Nothing is displaying...you need to have a host site like webshots or the like.

I 'think' you can post them to your gallery here and link to them then?

joe.

6 feet is a awful lot.

You can flip the ball mount. But having those pictures would be best for all of us to give advice.

You should be able to add them to your free gallery space and post them here or direct us to look in your gallery.

Does the hauler have the axles flipped? If the guy you bought it from had a lifted truck, thae axles may be flipped??? That would make it hard for you te get any hitch up high enough for the hauler to be level.........By the way what kind of trailer did you buy??
