I think my 05 x has the 2004 superduty bezel in it. I'm not 100% sure it's 2004, but it's definitely a superduty bezel so it uses the superduty headlight switch and doesn't read excursion on it. Otherwise it's the same thing. It's black like it's supposed to be for the 05 x (not that dark brown of the earlier years). I also have digital climate and everything matches up.
Here are some pictures... also shows what happens when you try to fit the X headlight switch. This is how I bought it, ran it like that for 6 months wondering why it fit like s*** until I realized what was going on.
