Highest Lift Kit?

Hello all,

So i have an idea for my business, i would like to lift an excursion as high as possible, say 3ft? Put some large tires, maybe 42 in, and vinyl wrap. Its simply supposed to be eye catching, and look a bit funky.

Truck will not be driven, so im not concerned with how stable it will be.

How do i raise the truck that high?

square steel (like what the hitch is made from) and a welder.

if it will be a stationary object, perhaps rolled around, but not driven...it would be very easy to mock up something for this. Just depends on how fancy you wanted the Suspension to look.

Real?

or

Just a close approximation

Is there a kit thats not crazy expensive that would do the job? I don't want it to look chopped it.

budget is 10k, found a car for 3k, the rest spent on wheels, lift, vinyl, install.

Just in wheels and tires, you're looking atleast $4000. A tire alone will be $600 and I'm being cheap. You'd have a better billboard if you could drive it

Some other thoughts, maybe more expensive than your fine idea.

No fun not to drive it....plus driving around gets you more exposure......you will get plenty of looks with an 8 or 10 inch lift and you'd still be able to use it

This is Vinnys truck from Krazy House Kustoms. This kit alone, if i remember correctly, was an 18-20 One Up Offroad kit. Custom paint and chrome additions, cost him close to $25000-30,000. This truck is not only crazy looking but is every bit functional. Probably not what your looking for, but this truck is indestructible.

Yes, I remember seeing it time to time as I passed the shop. Last I heard he was selling it. I haven't seen it out front all summer. Its a true work of art!

You can't possibly be serious. $10k total budget?

You're going to spend $3k on tires and wheels. Minimum. A 36" lift kit is going to have to be custom fabbed. Did you honestly think you were going to pick out a 36" lift kit from a summit racing magazine for $1500? If you don't want it to look hacked together, then it's going to cost upwards of $20k to have a shop design, fab, and install it. A vinyl wrap is $2500 and up depending on how fancy you want the graphics.

$10k... wow thank you I needed a laugh today!

This is eye catching, but not sure it fits in the Funky category. I recall the For Sale sign saying 'she handles like she's on rails'.

Those square steel risers could be much longer. For sure under $10k.

I've seen a Cheby pickup lifted a couple of feet. A motorcycle rider's head was at the bumper level at a stop light. When the light turned green, the truck about tipped over turning left, then got on the interstate and drove 55 and it looked real uncomfortable (because it bounced and swayed).

I think you'd be trailering that thing around vs. driving it.
Plus, you will likely encounter LEOs with bumper and headlight violations.
