My second oil change using chevron Delo LE 5w/40 CJ-4 rated full synthetic and a Motorcraft oil filter. I’m currently running Rotella T6 5w/40 as the chevron CJ-4 oil may be currently out of production and very hard to find now. It’s interesting to point out the factory fill 10w/30 has a higher level of both zinc and phosphorous over the Delo.
Phosphorus over 1,000 was the change in the new F1 requirement from Ford.

Correct, I was just a little surprised the CJ-4 Delo LE just barely met the F1 requirement being a previous API rated oil. It’s strange how there’s no new Chevron F-1 spec approved CK-4 oil as of yet? It’s possible chevron kept making the CJ-4 LE oils longer until they would get an approval by Ford for the new spec? Hard to say.
Also wondering how the Amsoil stacks up against the Lube Engineers diesel oils?
So what im reading is essentially Blackstone recommending.....10k mile oil changes....kind of like FORD does! Imagine that....
I think you are close. Blackstone is saying this is a very high quality oil and a good recommendation in the 6.7. That’s all. I was curious to see how close to 1,000 phosphorus was reported. So far it’s one of the strongest oils I’ve seen to meet/exceed the new F1 standard.
