Thinking about buying this truck for body parts. Doors, hood, upper and lower grille valance are all perfect and happen to be the same color as my '66. To help pay for it, I would sell whatever parts I didn't need.
What does a pristine painted '65 grille fetch these days? I was thinking if I could get at least $250 out of it buying the truck would be a no brainier...
Unfortunately I have one backside and 2 65's, and 3 spare steel grilles 65 grilles and possibly get up to $200 plus to an interested party. Having said that, less than $1000 and running, in my view, it would be a shame to part out truck.
Random pertinent question, does anoyone know if the F600 fenders would fit on a pickup? I've always wondered, since they seem to share cabs and the rest of the front clip with a pickup.

I've always wanted to see someone do an f100 road race truck and use these fenders with some seriously wide racing tires like the IMSA Mustangs of the late 70's and 80's. The opening might be too big and give too much clearance around the circumference of the tire to the point it wouldn't look right. And then there's the issue of what to do with the rear fenders. Maybe just widen flareside fenders out to the same width.
