Hey guys, I was told that there's a bushing in the forward shackle of the front springs (under the front bumper) that is factory molded into the shackle/mount and that those need to be replaced with OE or equivalent part?
I found that shackle/mount on the parts finder they are application specific LH + RH but they don't seem to have bushings in them. I though they were just mounted directly to the frame rail?
Is this person just blowing smoke or should I inspect these mythical factory-molded-into-shackle bushings? I couldn't find any info on this site or on the Googleverse.
I'm betting money he's talking about this one, which I did not touch. I just did the spring eye bushings... I think I'll go buy a pair of these - it should be an easy install.
