I asked this over on the 6.2 forum without much luck, so I will try here. Truck is 2012 F250XL single cab 6.2. Where is the pitch sensor on this truck? There are times the hill start assist will keep the brakes applied on level ground, and occasionally I will crest a hill onto a level stretch and the truck doesn't want to upshift. So I am thinking the pitch (incline) sensor needs recalibrated. Anyone know where it is?
might be part of the instrument panel cluster (IPC). I would see about contacting CircuitBoardMedics on this site. Or see if you can find their website or phone number. They can probably answer your questions.
Do you have the pitch display (accessed in the left hand steering wheel menu)? Wondering if that works off the same sensor snd if do, if called up the fisplay will show you if the pitch looks about right (ie: if the display shows you're still on an incline even though you've flattened out)
I am not aware of the 2011-2012 "XL" having it as an option . "XLT" and up did.
mine does not have it.. but have power window, Cruise, trailer tow package, E-Locker, Power Mirrors.

I have it. I can watch the trailer brake display go to max output when I stop on a hill. The truck does not roll back. The hill start assist is listed on the build sheet.
