My 6.0 keeps trying starts on a regular bases. I was told it was a week injector by mechanic so we replaced that one and bought a new starter. Within 2 days it had fried that one also. We did check batteries and they tested good even put them in another dismal and drive them for a week. Mechanic told us we need to put another injector in it. But I don't see how a injector can fry the starter.

Sounds like you might need another mechanic who can actually diagnose the problem.
What brand starter are you using?
Does it take a lot of cranking to start the truck?
I would ask to see some proof of injector contribution codes.

I will have to check brand when I get home. When you first put it in its only takes a couple cranks to turn over. Then in a few days it will take you a few mins to turn it over. Then the next day there is no turning it.
You may have a case of poor rebuilds.
Or poor ground connections (6.0s design isn't great).
Or a broken ground cable from one of the batteries.
Or a broken battery to battery cable.
But the slowly decreasing starting ability normally indicates batteries that are running down from either an internal situation or the alternator not recharging the batteries.
How long do you keep the starter spinning when trying to start it? They get too hot if you just let them spin and spin and spin.
Give them time to cool off between starting attempts
It's like the fuel system is losing its prime is why have to crank so long and eventually over heat the starter
The HPO system, not the fuel system. The fuel system will prime and purge itself without cranking at KOEO while the fuel pump is running. If your truck isn't starting within 8-10 seconds you have a bigger problem than a single injector or the starter. Could be injector related, or it could be a dozen other things. Diagnosing the no-start should be the priority so that you don't have to run the starter longer than the few seconds starting should take.
