The actuator in my barn was just dangling lose. I picked up a new one from the stealership. But I don't know how to mount the new one. Any picks or a video would really help.
I looked through the tech folder. I have not seen any pics of anyone installing the actuator on the boor door. Also, most of the pics are no longer visible.
Talking about the actuator in the hatch. First, the stealership sold me the wrong part. Next, they told me that it would work. After getting the correct part, I install it this evening. I couldn't see the tab in the middle but could feel it. Once I figured out how it was attached it was fairly easy. I had the lube the mechanism up as it was very hard to move.
The hatch lock actuator is the same for the driver's side front and rear door lock actuators. I recently replaced mine. You can get them at AutoZone for $65 and they come with a lifetime warranty. If it fails ever again, they will give you a replacement free of charge.
