Kwik posted a good write up about that very subject. I do not have a link right now but do have one store din my favorites at home. I can post it up after work.
The actuators are "locked" onto the door latch. I don't have any pics. One thing you can do is to remove the bolts holding the latch to the door and pull it all out that way. Once it's out you can see how the actuator slides onto the latch and locks into place.
If you do a search of "Door Lock Actuator" you will find several excellent threads, w/pics, that not only tell you how to get the actuator out, but also a nice little fix for those lazy automatic locks.
Just did one of mine the other day.
When you first remove the locking mechanism it will most likely take you a few frustrating hours.
But once you figure out how the different rods come off of the mechanism it gets much easier to do the next one.
Here's a long post on repairing your actuators... easiest way to get at them is to take off the exterior door latches, and unscrew the four torx bolts holding the lock mechanism.
You can repair the actuators as described in the post -- honestly no need to purchase unless you really want to -- I think the dealer gets $60 apiece and once one goes out the others are right around the corner. Craig
