Good evening all, quick question, will factory front locking hubs from a 89 f250 fit on a 95 dana 60? Ive read the 50's have 30 spline axles and the 60's have 35. Can anyone confirm.
I have auto hubs on my 94 and ones broken and rattles all the time but I have an old 89 f250 rolling chassis with factory locking hubs and wanted to swap them.
I've always heard that Dana 50 and Dana 60 used the same hubs. And I know that when I ordered new hubs for my '97 F-250HD that it took the same hubs as a '97 F-350 (Dana 60). But I don't know how many splines my axle has, and I don't know if '89 to '94 (or '95) are the same.
Also I assume you know that some F-250s used Dana 44HD front axles which do not use the same hubs as Dana 50/60 and that you know that your F-250 has the Dana 50.

any help would be great.
As long as the 89 has a D50 and NOT the D44hd, they will fit. Easiest way to tell a dana 50 from a d44 is the diameter of the hub
D50 is 4.00"
D44 is 3.25"
And dont waste your money on the Warns. The Superwinch are 1/2 the cost and the same quality if not better
