I thought the same thing until I saw pictures of it installed on a stock-ish F350. I was shocked at how far it stuck out from the grill. None of the promo pictures I have seen do it justice. It looked like the truck had the worst underbite imaginable.

jesus! That looks absolutely stupid. I actually asked warn for more pics, different angles from what they have posted...never heard back, I understand why now.
i had a 2014 F150 with hidden winch mount, it was perfect and very easy to install.
I agree with y'all, everything out there is atrocious looking or insanely priced. My winch is sitting on the garage floor as well. I wish a hidden kit like the one I had on the F150 was available. I know the warn hidden kit makes the factory bumper stick out 5" if I remember correctly but the total cost is around $800.
