I have a 2012 250 Lariat and seem to be experiencing a lot of wind noise. The noise doesn't seem to start until about 60 mph and then from there it gets much worse. If I am driving about 70 sometimes you can hardly carry on a conversation in the truck. I am wondering if this is normal for these trucks and if anyone knows if the noise usually comes from the windshield or the side windows, it is hard to tell where the noise is coming from here. Any input or advice is appreciated.
My 2012 F350 has a great deal of wind noise more prevalent on the driver's side as speed increases. I think it is from door or window seals, but have not had time to diagnose the cause yet. Much more wind noise than any of my four past trucks.
What noise does it make. Many have had leaks in the windshield gasket that make a loud vibration pitch at 60+ mph. The dealer fixed it for me under warranty. Others have used 3m sealer to DIY.
I get the kazoo noise rarely. Only if I'm on the highway with a strong headwind. In 3 years that's happened about 3x. Sounds like what the op is talking about is different?
