Hi Guys,
Haven't been on here in quite awhile and hope everyone is still enjoying lots of trouble free miles. My truck just rolled over 100,000km and it's finally time to have some fun with it. I just ordered a set of Rancho XL 9000 shocks and am trying to decide on which tuner to add to the mix. I had great luck with a Spartan tuner on my 6.4L and am considering the same setup but am curious if there is a better option out there? I was also really considering an H&S setup but heard they are out of business now so that changes things. I would GREATLY appreciate some feedback from the guys who are running tuners regarding power increases, MPG differences and possible pro's and cons. I'm hoping to add the tuner and delete pipe within the next couple months and once again appreciate any help or advice.
Cheers
I've been really happy with an SCTX4 and a Tirant Street (80 HP) tune. I love the tune, the shifts, and have had no issues since deleting. MPG is about 15 average, but my truck is lifted 3" with 35s.
Depends on the year of truck as to all the options. I am running Spartan on my 15 with the ndash. It is sotf and the display is really nice. Spartan is a little slow with their promised updates but it is nice that they keep adding new features when they do. Exhaust brake is stronger than stock and still works with the dash button. Get roughly 20.5mpg hwy with the cruise set at 110km/hr or 68mph and about 16 or so combined. They haven't refined the tunes to work with the nl stage 2 intake if that's an issue thou, supposed to be updated soon thou.
