well I screwed up a few months ago and took my doors off my 64 f100 and didn't drill any 1/8 holes in them (dumb a.. me) but any way searching the forums and haven't found any thing on hanging and adjusting the doors again nay one have any tips or tricks to get them fit back on the truck again thanks mike

The picture is of the easiest way I have found to fool with the doors especially if you work alone. Just raise the old office chair higher than you need it then you can ease it down until you can slide the door on to the hinges. Look closely at the hinge and see if you can see the old marks where it was bolted to the hinge pillar there should be some bite marks from the star washers and put the hinges on the door pillar as close to that position as possible. There should be some of the same bite marks on the inside of the door also. Try to get the door as close to them as possible. Now unfortunately it will take a lot of tweaking to get them perfect. Pic. of Door adjustment instructions from 65 Ford Truck Shop Manual on Door adjustment. Not sure the 3 paragraph instructions are of any help, not sure if I did? Includes striker plate and portion on hood. If I come across an adjustable desk seat cheap I will give Crop Duster's approach a try.
See posts #558 & 559 in link below, #559 shows a stand that can be built to be used in conjunction with your floor jack to hold door without damaging, and of course the jack makes it easy to elevate the door as required.....
