I am looking for a KnN replacement air filter but I don't know where i can find one. Is the complete intake better the just the drop in filter for this truck? There are no mods to it at all,... well minus the stereo
Any links would be great
Thanks
Edgar
Yeah thats what i was thinking. I know about the cold air intakes but every car/truck engine is different.
Any one know where i can get the filter from? Guess i'll look at the KnN web site and see if they list dealers..............
Gaining additional power is tricky to detect without proper test equipment, but my gas gauge don't lie. After replacing my stock air filter with a K&N filter my average gas mileage increased from 13.3 mpg to 14.4 mpg. I drive to work the same way every day at 35 - 45 mph .
Thats what i want better gas milage. Besides driving slower any one else done anything to help with milage? I was thinking of plugs and maybe wires but i'm not sure in the computer will keep things in the stock form
