Plow Package Fan

Plow Package Fan
I was wondering if it was feasible to install the snow package fan clutch on a 2001 F250 with a 5.4. The reason I ask is I have a winch bumper installed and when I'm in stop n go traffic during the summer the temp gauge sits above the middle a little bit, not overheating. Also when ac doesn't blow that cold.

It does have a fan clutch, I was just wondering if the snow package fan clutch would fit. I know that the snow package fan clutch disengages at a higher rpm and if I'm not mistaken runs at 100% when at idle or low rpms.

At 1 point in time I bought a replacement clutch for my F150 and it was aftermarket name brand. It made the fan extremely loud in town, when it did come on towing it felt like the AC had kicked on. Swapped it back to stock. Noise wise think of old V6 S-10 pickup or Astro van, you can here them coming a block away.

Not enough that I noticed, seemed to cycle on and off at idle and my heater box blend door wasn't sealing right. I think the blend door was the culprit. It did keep the engine cooler when it was engaged. It may be a mental thing but it seemed to sap a noticeable amount of power on the highway when engaged.
