The cops call that a PIT maneuver. I can’t stand soap operas or naaascar for the same reasons... I hope the dude is ok and the dude that made him wreck gets a swift kick in the ***. It’s going to be interesting to see how this gets handled by the officials and fans.

Glad he was ok, I dont watch nascar anymore, but still respect it. Last race i really watched was the 500 Earnhardt was killed.

 

@bdpotts , it sounds like you made a valiant effort and there is good reason why mo other volunteers were there to help out.

 

Well it was a nice 49* today outside painting. Granted the constant 10-15mph wind made it sucky. Half done now At least the rest is able to be painted without replacing any wood. Glad all the power washing is done now. Tired of wet socks

 

I usually run it hard. I didn't put all these upgrades on it to drive like my grandpa.

 

My grandpa had an AMC Pacer.

FWIW, that uglyass car had a 350 with 4bbl in it and a posi rear axle. I remember both rear tires breaking loose leaving red lights and the sound of the back barrels opening/closing on a regular basis.

Im sure I don’t drive as aggressively as either of my grandparents. A few years after grandpa passed away, grandma decided to get a new car. She bought a new Taurus or something. A year later, she got another new car and wanted me to come see it. It was exactly the same car. Same color and everything. I said ‘grandma, it’s the same car’, to which she responded ‘This one has a V6!!’ Then she told me to ‘punch it’ when taking it for a test drive.

 

OK, Ike is for sale again. I figure this time I am going the Ebay route and starting the bid high. Hell, other people are doing it. For a good FTE brother, I'll give a great deal on a rust free truck at $35k. Don't argue or tire kick either. I don't have time for cheap skates. I KNOW what my creampuff truck is worth, and it is $35k. I have seen it myself on CL and Ebay. PM me if interested.

Thats priced a little low, my buddy just bought an early 99 with 600k on it for $35k, all original just oil changes.

I bet yours is worth 45k. I heard the early 99 had a special factory lift and gets 24 mpg uphill pulling 20,000

Westin, Waylon and Dom are fun to watch and I laugh at them all the time. I got started watching him when he was doing his Fummins conversion. It is a good channel if you take it for what it is worth...
