Cleaning EGR?
Does anyone have experience cleaning the EGR valve? I need to clean mine just looking for some advice. This will be on a non deleted truck. Thanks

I have read that some remove it and wash it out. Might do a search and see what you can find on cleaning egr.

sop and hot water and new seals don't be cheap they coast $25-60 brother does it all the time diesel mechanic for FORD if it' bad let it soak for a day take care

??? when it throws code how do you use your truck ??? a lot of idling will cause that but not when used as a truck working it.Its not something that needs to be touched like air filters

I work on heavy equipment, best thing we've found for cleaning the EGR valve and such is oven cleaner.

anyone have a video on taking the EGR off? I was told you have to drain the cooling system a little.
