egr cleaning
I have been working and playin around on my 88F250 (5.8L) trying to figure out a couple of issues. I am getting an error code 34 when I do the diagnostics. I checked my EVP and it looks like it is coming in ok (3500 ohms on one side and 600 on the other -- I guess that's ok). So, I thought the EGR is probably not working. Is this easy enough to clean? Can I just pop it off and clean it with carb cleaner or something? Does anyone have any experience with cleaning an EGR and it working better afterwards? A new one costs me about $85, so I sort of would like to get this one working.
