From what I understand I should be using Lv transmission fluid in my truck. 2008 f250 V10, torqueshift trans. The parts store says Sp. Which is it? Thanks Bill

Reason: Left out info
there were some owners manuals conflicts about this.....SP, then when SP was nearing end of supply LV, then when it appeared that SP would be available SP again......confusing indeed
my personal take , and take it for what its worth, the switch to LV was to squeeze some more MPG out of the truck to make the stats look good...I dont think long term reliability was a primary consideration. LV is thinner than SP.
so basically, if you care more about MPG and do not do heavy towing...you could probally get away with LV.
If long term reliability are more important then MPG and you tow....id go with SP.
